Santiago de Compostela
How familiar are you with the tradition of walking The Camino?
El Camino, also known as The Way of St. James, was one of the most important Christian pilgrimages during the Middle Ages. Legend says that St. James's remains were carried by boat from Jerusalem to northern Spain, where he was buried in what is now the city of Santiago de Compostela. The Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela is the end of the pilgrimage route.
The name Santiago is the local Galician translation of the Latin "Saint James".
The cathedral, representing Religion, is one of four buildings on the main plaza.
FYI: The Cathedral is shown from the side because it seems to be the only photo I took of it.
